1. prefix added to almost all verb bases to form verbs which refer to an action carried out by more than one person. (See manggi- for illustrations of the tense forms of the active voice.) This affix is productive in Leyte and in other regions, but elsewhere almost unknown. Ayaw mu panggiáway, Don’t fight among yourselves; 2. dead prefix added to a few roots with no plural meaning. Ayaw panggilábut sa ílang mga prublíma, Don’t mix into their problems.
