Meaning of hábas

n. 1. a growth which develops in horses’ mouths which causes hardship in eating. It is removed by application of heated iron; 2. sores that develop on soft tissue: the tongue, corners of the mouth, palate; v. 1. for horses to develop such a growth; 2. develop sores on the tongue or in the corners of the mouth.
